What's the correct way to set float heights? I've heard a couple different ways. On a 4 carb setup do u flip upside down and tilt back until float needle just drops and then measure? Or measure it holding carbs the way they are installed on bike?

Factory Pro's website has a good write up on it. Basically the carbs are placed on an angle then measured.

you want to measure the float height when the metal tab on the float just touches (but not compresses) the spring tab on the needle. to do this you will need to tilt it slightly upside down.
