i have a 01 zx9r..just built, got on road, motor knocking...is trhere such thing as a bottom end rebuild kit for the motor of 01 zx9r and what are my other options if any.????
i have a 01 zx9r..just built, got on road, motor knocking...is trhere such thing as a bottom end rebuild kit for the motor of 01 zx9r and what are my other options if any.????
If the knock is coming from the bottom end you need to split the case and replace the crank and big-end rod bearings. There is no "rebuild" kit that I am aware of. Probably have to send the crank out to have the bearing surfaces restored too.
