So I have a zzr1100 d model in a kitcar. Kawasaki say they are 147bhp at the flywheel and 139.7bhp at the rear wheel. I had mine dyno'd and set up 2 weeks ago. Its a standard engine with bigger main jets, foam panel filter and a 4 into 1 manifold with art race can. It made 143bhp at the rear wheels so will be about 155bhp at the flywheel. I'm going to tune the engine. Here's what I'm going to do 1109cc bigbore with je high comp piston, head gas flowed/ported/3 cut seats etc. Full race 4-2-1 exhaust system, high lift race cams with slotted cam sprockets, ignition advancer plate(advances ignition by +4 degree, 38mm flatslides with flow commander on them them. I spoke to holeshot racing and they said if I did this work to my engine it would easy make 200bhp at the flywheel, powertec said the same. Just wondered if anyone has tuned there's to similar spec and what gains they got. Let me no thanks

never used forum b4 as u can imagine.
I will actually be looking into the coil on plug, its on the cards thats for sure. The car is used for hillclimbs, very short, bumpy and slippery hillclimbs lol

does anyone know if the block of the zrx1200 is a straight fit to the zzr1100?
need just that bit more power before I decide to go turbo....

NO, NO, and NO, the ZZR1200 block will not bolt on the ZX/ZZR1100.
ZZR1200 motor is an easy bolt in to the ZX/ZZR1100 chassis though.
ZRX1200 and ZZR1200 blocks are the same.

Thats a real shame came across a zzr1200 with a drysump that would have been a nice fit!

Anyone know of a proper 4-2-1 side swept manifold? Cant go under engine as its too low mounted.

I saw a weld it your self exhaust setup the other day, I think on ebay... I will see if I can find it..but when I search ebay, I will do ZX11, and then do a ZZR 1100 search, so it may have been under either of those... I would think you could alter that sort of setup to run where ever you wanted....

Hi omszzr1100, been thinking about turboing the ol girl & interested in you FUEL INJ setup. what year t/bodies & manifold issues did you come across?? Also info on cam sensor set up if possible... Hi to everyone else, haven't been on for ages( health issues), just lurking every so often to see what's happening... thanks guys...
