I searched and couldn't find any threads on this. I'm considering doing this next winter along with new fork springs. Any recommendations on what exactly is needed to do this w/o changing forks or wheel.

If you are talking about the 4 pots on your 03 I will have a pair for sale here if you are interested...

the advantage is a larger trailing piston to stop axial fade across the pots... the 6 pot tok's work great if you maintain them but the nissin are a stronger caliper IMHO

just a direct bolt on... but these ones will need a rebuild ($40 for all new seals)... and a nice coat of paint...

I decided on a radial mount...

you could have the calipers for $20 plus shipping...

if you are insterested PM me and I will give em a quick clean and send you some pics.

What is all involved with the putting on radial brakes, thats kind of what I've been looking into. Just the mount, calipers, and a radial master cylinder or is there more to it?

Either way any major changes won't be happening until next winter when I change the fork springs.

I may be interested in the nissin calipers, unless radial is the way to go.

Thats pretty much it. Just make sure to get radials that fit the bracket.

Also note that radial calipers mounted as axial calipers are really just axial calipers. The main benefit from doing this would be simply getting a more modern caliper... and they look sick :)

exactly what six said....

there is no advantage of having the radial mount other than upgrading to a newer radial master and getting a set of newer brakes...

you will want to upgrade your rotors too...

My current set up:
2005 GSXR Tokico 4 pots
EBC HH Sintered Pads
2005 ZX6R Nissin Radial Master
Goodridge SS Lines
EBC Pro-Lite Rotors
Clear Anodized Ally Adaptor Brackets.

Havent actually havent got this set bolted on yet

Or do a ZX10R front swap!!!

J/K... if I had stock forks I would use one of the radial adapters and slap some 1000RR calipers on there with a radial m/c.
