So, About April 7th, my 2006 636 was stolen from my apts. It is now may 17th and I got a call letting me know my bike was recovered at a drug bust, along with about 7 other bikes...lol I got it to my friends and attempted to start it.... battery was fine, gas seemed to be sufficient but of course there was no ignition on the bike, just about 6-7 wires where the ignition use to be....I want to take it to a shop a few blocks but now do not have a trailer or truck... it'll sound like its going to start but wont turn over, when I put two of the wires together, I think its the fuel pump. Not certain of how the ignition wires should even go to start it properly, any suggestions? Also seemed that the bike was ridden hard, dropped several times...mainly cosmetic damage....hopefully.

Run it through your insurance. Have a reputable shop fix everything that might be damaged. Your rates shouldn't go up because you weren't the one that stole it and fucked it up. I've been through this before.
