Hello everyone,

just purchased a Ninja ZX14R. Amazing bike indeed. I am very close to the first check at 600 miles. I noticed today after a first ride without gloves (60 miles) that I was feeling "pins and needles" (in Italy we call those "ants" :) on my hands. It was pretty surprising because they were remarking on several reviews that this new model is so smooth and comfortable and no vibrations during riding. With gloves I didn't notice after even more than 100 miles continuously. Does anybody had the same ....effect?
Ciao and Best.

i went to my dealer and i test ride their demo bike it was definetly smoother up to 9500 rpm so i don't know why mine isn't like that. I speak with the dealer he said every bike is different and he said he cant really tell any difference but if the bike has something really wrong it will break soon and you got guarantee so its okay. But its not okay for me cause i bought the bike for smooth engine! he suggested when we installing the pipes they can re-torque all the engine again. Again its on both of my hands and in between my legs where the petrol tank is! what you guys think ? i also take out my cash protectors i must say it is a little better.

As I said in the beginning back in June, I really thing that it is a case of "Killer Death Grip". When you are cruising, just rest your hands on the grips, and see if the problem goes away.

i though it was that and i am riding bikes around 6 years now never had this before the Ducati Diavel i currently had has a vibration but its V twin and its normal but this is a line 4 i cant see how it buzz like this !
that's why i test ride the dealers demo so if it was my fail i would still feel buzz in my hands abut i didn't that is why it worried me a little.
anyway i will check it all when we installing the yoshi's.

Took mine on a 150 mile trip yesterday on mostly back country roads in KY... one thing I really noticed right away was how smooth this beast really is. I made a couple of suspension adjustments and I think she's dialed in. The most amazing thing was that I never got the mirror fuzzies at all.. with the Vrod I'm used to not having a super clear vision of what's behind me, but on the Kawi they are ROCK solid. Very impressed... and very impressed with how that big bike transitions in the curves... I'm starting to think this is the most fun you can have with your clothes on!
