Well I did it! I bought a 2000 ZX12R with a turbo! I know I know, why does anyone need that much speed? Because I like it and have always wanted one. That out of the way. Is there anything maintenance or mechanically speaking that I should be aware of that others have found on their stock bikes? I know mine will need more looking after but I'm just asking to prevent any problems.
One,where did you find a 12 with a turbo? Two,who did the install? Three,Replacing sparkplugs sucks major and I can't imagine that adjusting the valves is much better. Four, has the stock clutch been replaced? If not,buy the COMPLETE Muzzy kit.
Nashville, he did, he is some kind of engineer. The bike has some cool stuff, like electric over air shifter that has an adjustable shift curve where it will shift at a predetermined rpm. Has nitrous that hits only at predetermined rpm and shuts off at selected rpm. Water & oil temp guage nitrous pressure guage, Heli risers, 6" over swingarm etc etc. Owned by a 50yr old. Oh the clutch has the Muzzy kit and exhaust.
No, it is a green one bought from a fellow near nashville.
