I am looking for a complet Ignition Switch new or used for the 1991-92 zx7r K1 part # SWITCH-ASSY 27004-5412 it is a discontinued item :angry:rant:banghead

all i really need is the lock that go's under the butt pad # LOCK-ASSY,PAD 27016-5182 if i can find one i should be able to get it re keyed.

if you can help let me know cash or trade i have a lot of parts for the J1 or J2 zx7

91 ignition switch

from what i can tell it looks like the ignition switch and gas cap is the same but the k1 dose not ust the pass seat lock it has a butt pad lock and a helmet lock. see pic below

I have the LOCK-ASSY,HELMET 27016-5181 i have to re key but i have one.

Let me see if i can simplify this. You have a K that you want to put a passenger seat on and you need the lock and mechanism for the release? I've have 2 j parts bikes. I'll take some pics and mail them to you if you can send me your e-mail. I dont know how to post pics on this site yet.
