hey guys, i have owned a few zx7's, 2x -1990's and 89 and a 92, loved my x7's other than how heavy there were, moved onto a 01 gsxr 600 track bike, today i was offered a 1999 ninja 636 fully custom race built engine by nrc polished swing arm/ frame looks like new, are the 99 636 any good power wise? any flaws or problems with these bikes? thought i'd ask my old ZX7 friends see what you guys think?

If I'm not mistaken, the ZX-6R didn't go 636cc until 2002 in the UK and in 2003 in the US.

I'm not sure what you were offered from 1999 model year. Maybe custom work? Either way, ask to see a dyno and you decide if you like the power band.

I know the bike...

its white with polish frame and swinger...

he has swapped the engine and had the work done professionally by NRC...

I was looking at it myself but decided against it and bought a racing quad instead...

looks like its a good bike...

he is located closer to me (ottawa area i believe)
