Had a question
2000 zx9r If I charge the battery I can push the start button an it will turn over.
But after that all I get is a relay click from the fuse box.
Also the dash lights are dim an if I push anything to use the brakes the bike acts like it is low.
12.3 volts at battery but at starter relay small wire only reads 6.35 .
Has anyone seen this before 2nd new battery .
Can turn key on an jump starter relay an will crank
Anyone seen this before
If not going to tear bike down an check every wire.

Have you tested the stator and regulator when you do get it started? Should be around 13.5-14.4

Take the IG fuse out and change it for another newer 10Amps. Your fuse box is getting played.

After changing the fuse as mentioned before, take the Starter Relay out, clean all terminal and ports, and try again.

Hey brother, had similar problems about a month ago. Is this how your bike sounds? If it does I can help you troubleshoot from easiest/cheapest onward:

Ah yes. Mine would start and run, but ran like shit and turned out to be the plugs too.
