Hi all,
Ive just bought a kawasaki ninja ZX6R- J1 2000 reg ,got it home started it ,it runs perfect like a dream,It was running at 84-90 degrees stood still but when i turned it off there was water coming out from underneath ??? help !!!!

more info. is that 80-90c or 80-90f. try to see where its coming from. and overflow, crack in the motor, radiator...

If you don't find a loose clamp or a leaky hose, your water pump may be circling the drain.

Or there's a clog in the system and the overflow is overflowing. Have you pulled the fairings off and had a look around yet?

My J1 was dripping a little coolant, and when I shut it off it spit out a bit of coolant right by the swing arm. Once I took the fairings off I noticed the PO had removed the overflow tank for some reason and routed the hoses to the rear.

Just one of the few WTF moments I've had while fixing this bike up. I'm still content with what I paid for it though.
