Hello. I like to wrench on things.
In this thread, I will try to revive an 05 zx636r.
In the end I hope to have something suitable from anything from straight havok to a simple ride to the 7/11

Yes, I could there Kev, however then I would have nothing to do.
Today, I began wire brushing some of the salvageable parts that had 10 years of spray paint and grunge on them.

Judging by the background, you live in a much warmer place than me. If you got 7/11, remember to install milk crate to rear seat. I delivered food for the bar I worked in the late 80's with my 900...

Hello @Alumicraft145. I tend to use a military style backpack with molle system that suits most of my needs when Im out and about.
As far as as 7/11 goes, ive literally lived off the food there at some points in my life. Good times.
Today, I scored some nice track fairings from a stuntrider down the block for a full fairing/stunt look in the end.
The bike looks assembled, however it is not even close to being assembled and is just "mocked" up while I get a vision of what I want, order parts, and pray to the bike Gods
that it runs.
Cheers bro.

It's awesome to see another single guy with a bike in his livingroom. Maybe this is what I need to do with my ragged out 06 636

Sometimes, you go gamble on a bike and the engine is toast
This time, the seller was 100% honest. I guess there are a few decent people left in these here parts
First fire! Its all downhill from here.
Might be a while until I post again, no need to post boring tedious work

I made a "sanding disk" for my drill... took one of those velcro sanding pads and glued a cut out of vegetan/raw leather to it.. added some autosol (marine shine) and then used that to polish some dull bits and pieces to a high chrome looking finish..

Works like a bomb :)
