Hey everyone.

I have a 1994 zx9r which currently in a million peices. (doing a rebuild) and have noticed that my rear shock is leaking. I can get a really good price on a newer shock with the resovoir built on to it. I was just wondering if the resovoir would hit the swingarm during suspension travel, or if it would fit at all, using the stock 1994 swingarm.

Also how hard would it be to swap the swingarm out to a 2000, or is there alot of modication needed?

Thanks
Shawn.

:dunno wish I could give you a better answer, but I have found with just about everything, switching parts that are more than 2-4 years older/newer than your original part is usally not viable. A six year difference is huge and a lot design changes have happened.

Good luck with your rebuild.
