i jus got my ZZR600 2 months ago and im already at 2000 miles but i never took it in for any work to be done on it at the dealership!..no stress

i did it all my self..at 300, 600, 1300 miles i changed oil/filter..and lubed the chain all the time.did a litte tightning of the clutch cable at the handle(jus a itsy bitsy amount)...and since then stiffened up the suspension all around..

all fluids still check out ok....so is there anything im drastically missing that i need to go spend the 200$ on a dealer service???..

There's a service schedule in the owners handbook that comes with the bike.

Valve clearances & carb/injector balancing start to get a bit more technical.

The first service should be free or at least it is in the UK - apart from lubes & parts.

Shortcircuit is right.

Also, be sure to get with your dealer with anything
else you do so that any warranties are not voided.

Congrats on your new ride.

will not void warranty, just some may want service records if you want to sell it.
