Top Speed? zx6/zx6rr

Before the gearing change, I hit 72mph in first on my 636. Never really have done a top-speed run but it's pretty common knowledge that a 636 will only do about 164mph topped out stock.

Not to beat a dead horse, but as long as there are people making top speed threads, there will be somebody bringing up speedometer error. That someone, this time around, is me. Since none of you mentioned having a Speedohealer or other calibration device, I have to assume none of you have one. Not to burst your bubbles, but take those numbers and knock off anywhere from 5-10%.
I have a speedo-healer.

+1

I know you do, but as you weren't making any claims, I really wasn't including you in my statement anyway.
I posted that I hit 72mph in first...just making sure everyone else knew that was a corrected number. I don't have the balls to try a top-speed run on the highway so, the "around 164mph" is all from dyno, other people's experience, etc.

On your bike, the speedohealer is a somewhat easy install. You need to know how to splice and solder wires but, other than that, all you have to do is take your tank off. I actually had a harder time finding a place to put the suction cup for my GPS when trying to program it. I think the healer was about $105.
