Your bike should have come equipped with a tool kit beneath your seat. Inside you will find an allen wrench that will fit the nuts that attach the windscreen to the fairing. It should take about one mintue to remove.
+1 There is a rubber seal between the air intake scoop and ducts to the air sensors and throttle bodies so don't think you have to worry bout it going there but it is possible that it was sucked out the bottom of the fairing area behind the screen if you were moving if not it's sittin right behind the instruments on the hardware and brackets that hold the headlight and nose assembly on to the bike.:rofl
