[98zx11]

so i just bought my 98 zx11 and it runs decent i know it needs stuff changed out and a tune up. there is a missfire but i have new spark plugs i havent put on yet anyway. if i try to crank the throttle like rev it up the bike dies also the throttle has a good bit of slack i plan on tightening it up. but if i work the throttle slowly it goes fine any suggestions and could it be because of the spark plugs or the air filter or even the fuel filter thanks guys.

Remove carbs, take out pilot jets, run a very small wire thru them...

clean the carbs like blane said also be ready to buy the spark plug tube gaskets more than likely you will find oil in the tube and be part of your miss
