2) February ROTM winner - Joe Coyote's ZX-7R

No special parts, modifications, or customization. Just a stock L model (except for missing lower fairing graphics). I see all of these cool bikes on the forum and I’m amazed at the amount of work and talent that goes into them. Custom paint and bodywork, engine swaps, someone is even doing a fuel injection conversion? Holy crap! I was happy that I was able to figure out why my headlights weren’t working and not have to pay someone to fix it (admittedly with a little help from my forum friends). I learned a long time ago that for someone of my limited mechanical abilities I’m better off leaving my bikes stock. Unless you’re doing track days, stock ZX’s are basically unbreakable and require very little attention. Yet they go like stink, handle well (when the L model came out in ‘93, Scott Russell reportedly said it handled better than his Muzzy prepared ’92), have great suspension and brakes, and are as much fun to ride as any bike you can find. Which is why I think my stock L model deserves to be the ROTM: as a reminder to everyone just how awesome these bikes were right out of the box! That and because every time I step into the garage and see those dual headlights looking at me from beneath that stupid/crazy/in-your-face lime green livery, it brings me back to 1995 and makes me feel 20 years younger.

3) March ROTM winner - Bersrkerk's 2014 ZX-14R

So here is my '14 ZX14 and I'll put in the before, during and after photos so you can see some of the progression. For the mods:

9) September ROTM winner - bungles's 2014 ZX-14R

2014 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14r

Miles: ~2,600

Bike name: My Mistress

Reason for buying: My Mid life crisis toy. Also was looking to get back into the drag racing scene after selling my car. Racing bikes seemed like a great idea. I always loved the Busa until the 14 came out and then couldn't pass this one up at $11k.

Here's the love I've put into the beast:
- MPS air shifter kit, MPS button w/ Slime minicompressor
- BMC air filter
- Schnitz ECU flash
- Schnitz tether kill switch
- Two Brothers VALE2 slip ons
- Catalyst Composites drag seat
- PSR shorty kick stand
- Roaring Toyz lowering links
- Roaring Toyz swingarm extensions at about 6" over
- Brocks lowering straps
- Brocks clutch mod with heavy duty springs
- Shinko U-soft rear tire
- Vortex 43 tooth rear sprocket
- Red painted heel guards
- Red painted rear pegs
- Custom painted red tail delete
- Designed the Autismoto logo on the windscreen to honor my son Ethan diagnosed with Autism at age 2

Best pass to date is 9.88@147 and shooting for low 9's.

10) October ROTM winner - Subzero's 1993 ZX7 L1

I would like to enter one of my bikes into the ROTM contest!

1993 Kawasaki Ninja ZX7 L1

Fresh paint job on upper, lowers, fender by Artistimo Custom Designs! Outstanding job!!- OEM decals for the Kawasaki on the lowers but the blue squiggles have been painted on now which is better since Kawi originally used decals and they would always crack and discolor due to the heat from the exhaust. Lowers have been cleared over the decals as well to protect them. Upper has the black and the blue decals painted on now which looks awesome.

New Continental tires F&R
Fresh powder coating on the wheels with new bearings, new hub bearings as well (All Balls)
New cush drive for rear wheel
New Pro-Tek swing arm spools
New wave guide style rotors F&R
New SBS brake pads F&R
Galfer SS braided brake lines F&R and hydraulic clutch line also
New Vortex rear 46T 520 sprocket
New Vortex front 16T 520 sprocket
New DID 520 gold chain
Full Muzzy exhaust with new copper exhaust gaskets
Factory Pro jet kit
K&N air filter
Headlight bracket, gauge mount, upper fairing mirror stay & various mounting brackets have fresh gloss black powder coating
New front led turn signals
New windscreen & mounting hardware

I have to agree. There is some pure sexiness in this poll.

Wow. No votes? No votes! You guys suck. I can't believe you made me vote for my own bike. Now I feel like a jerk, but it's not for me, it's for my bike, which has been feeling a little under the weather since I dumped it on Rt. 21 a few months ago. And when we saw that Zed Kable's cat got a vote I really lost my shit. I mean, that's a pretty nice cat and all, but still, it's just a cat.
