Anybody know where to find tank sliders for a 07-08 zx6r? I can find then for a 09+ but not a 07-08

Looking like its a custom "Slider" for 09+ Im sure you can message the guy and see if it would work or if there's something he can do.

A tank slider dosen't seem very practical tho. Frame sliders kept my tank from touching the ground just fine.

Kinda seem worthless tho, sure it will protect from scraps and scratches. But you go down hard enough it still probably dent.

I've already found those like I said in the OP. The 09 tank is way different from a 07-08 tank in shape so wouldn't work.

This isn't for cosmetics. It's to fulfill CMRA tech requirements. Metal gas tank sliding on pavement can lead to bad things.

I do know how well they dent tho

GOOD GOD :scared The body work on these things do snap like twigs. or in this case, dent like a coke can.

Tank sliders are meant to take the initial brunt of contact. Sometimes, something as simple as a lowside can total a bike if the tank gets worn through and gas spills out while its sliding. Metal sliding on pavement = sparks. Sparks + gasoline = fire. Fire = total loss in most cases.
