hey guys, i have a 1995 zx7 and want to do a tail fairing swap..

these are the fairings i can find locally:
Gsxr 1000 2001 $75.00 with light
Gsxr 600 1998 $50.00 with light
Cbr 1000 2005 tail $75.00
1999 r6 tail $80.00

i like the r6 tail... cant really picture how it would look though..
i have searched and see the cbr600 and gsxr1000 has been done, and heaps of others..
what does everybody think would be the most visually pleasing option?

Someone on here has done the R6 conversion, I've seen pics. Do a search...

that r6 tail looks like it leaves a gap around where the standard fairing goes under the seat, i like how slim it is though... the gsxr600 tail looks like it goes all the way up to the tank but then i dont really like the look of it, looks like its got a helmet box instead of a pillion seat... im thinking of swinging towards the gsxr1000 tail, does anybody know if it would be much larger than an r6 tail? the r6 tail looks too small in that thread...

The GSXR tail is about the same size as our 7 tails, and should mount up to the stock subframe. It also covers that annoying gap between the tank and the frame where you can see the carbs.

No one ever wants to try ZX6R tail or ZX10R tail.
