Hi guys, i have a 07 zx6r and I would like to fit a slip-on exhaust just for the noise (obviously :runaway)

Here are some questions:

0. How does this affect the bike? (just slip-on, no PC, no nothing)

1. what happens with the "wires" of the butterfly valve?
(I just leave them hanging? or what?)

2. catalyst - should it stay or go?
(please, if you can, explain why stay/go and ...tell me if it's a hard job..can it be put back in case I have to put it back?)

3. (this is a silly one, but my bike is in another city for the winter, and I can't have a look at it) How is the final exhaust "bolted" to the undertail?
(if you could post a photo or explain ?)

Read any of the installation instructions on just about any exhaust manufacturers website and that will answer the majority of your questions.

the wires you can take it off from the servo motor

the valves only purpose is to make EPA happy with low rpm noise.

The catalytic converter can stay or go depending on what state you live in, some states requires safety inspections and not having a cat can fail that inspection.
if you are a tree hugger, then you also want the cat on
