Opinions....when racing do y'all let off throttle while shifting? I've gotten in the habbit of just leaving throttle wide open while going through all gears...input or advice?
still waiting on the full throttle shift to 2nd response.Sounds like a cooked transmission waiting to happen.
And/or an upside down bike lool
Lol...sorry, not every gear from 3 on for sure!Maybe tomorrow there will be an answer. Should be interesting.
Many riders without a quick-shifter, air-shifter, or powershifter blip the throttle quickly to unload the tranny just a little. I'm one of those kind. It's a clutchless upshift. If the bike has some type of shifting aid, the electronics will reduce engine power for a few milliseconds effectively doing the same thing. If you continue your full throttle upshifting, you may shorten the life of your tranny, maybe not.Lol...sorry, not every gear from 3 on for sure!
Of course! :evilBTW, you and your buddy are going through redline in 6th gear at the track, yes? Thought so.
