I will be road tripping down to South Carolina March 3rd. I have 8-9 days off. I have planned a route down the east coast but also wanted to plan a route through kentucky and such. Any scenic routes to take? Things one must see while traveling that direction? Ill be going through ohio, kentucky, and tennessee. Main cities would be dayton, cincinnati, lexintong, and knoxville. Of course I can go out of my way a bit.

I plan to stop in Lexington as there is a lot to see and do there and I also plan to drive along Red River Gorge.

Where exactly is deals gap?

Im starting out in Lansing, MI.

Ill be riding two up. Ill post along the way if I can fit my computer. Itd be cool to meet up and see some other ppl. however im taking my cbr so you'll just have to deal.

Be sure to get off the interstate in KY, then roll the two lanes southeast to Marysville, TN, which is where Deals Gap resides. Try hit the Cherohala Skyway, spectacular ride. Can't go wrong on any of the two lane highways really. 28, 111, 129. Some of the finest there is. Find a route that looks good and roll with it. Won't want to leave.

Get off I75 in Florence, KY and ride US 25 at least down through Georgetown. There's a 20-30 mile stretch where I can set cruise control at 70 in the car and keep on trucking through the twisties
