Jack up the back of the bike, remove both bolts that hold it into place and remove.

I haven't been able to take a look yet. After removing the part, is it a straight forward process to put the shock back into it's original position? Was anything removed that i'll ned to replace to bring it back to stock?

so to hold your links in you remove the bottom rear spoiler. (right in front of your rear tire) there are four bolts that hold it on. once that is removed look at the bottom of your bike. there is a shock perch (maybe not the right name) there is a bolt and a nut at the bottom and a bolt and a nut at the top. put a jack at the bottom of the silver perch and raise it a lil to take the pressure off. remove the top and lower bolts and your links will come off. there will be one on each side. also look at your manual they call it tie rod ends in the book. if you need a copy of the manual emailed to you, i do have it on pdf. lemme know.
