I recently bought a 2nd hand ZX12R, which has a Power Commander III USB and Remus Titanium echaust (I think it's only a slip on, but can't be sure).

The bike runs reasonably well, but is sometimes a little unpredictable, bogs down at low revs and is certainly poor on gas consumption.

The history of the bike is not certain, although the shop that sold me it believed that the PCIII map was the result of Dyno testing.

I would like to try to backup the current map inside it, then try a default/zero map - then maybe a reference map from the PCIII website. Then, finally, a new dyno test.

Does anyone know if it's possible to backup the current map and how it's done.

Thanks,
Stuart.

Hi there friend,

If it was me, i would go out there and buy myself an 'external display' for the pc3. It's the same as doing dyno testing but doing it on the go/on the road. You can customise and save different mapping with it's onboard memory. You can fully customise any way you see fit.
