Since ZXgreen7r started a link of current Ebay auction stuff (which is a cool idea) I thought I'd start a link of showing the stuff you just won on Ebay.

I'll start.

Original 1993 ZX7 tail decal for the Green/Blue/White paint scheme

Factory decal for the 91 ZX7 and ZX7R Fuel Tanks

Why don't you guys use sniping services? I use Bidding Scheduler, put in the item number, you're absolute max bid and let it do it's magic. No need to watch the auction or manually put in a bid in the closing seconds.

Bidding early just runs up the cost and also lets others know there is somebody interested.

Just my $.02

Those are some nice finds, Justin. Especially the Marchesini's and the gauge kit.

I sometimes wonder if the sellers themselves are using a separate account and bidding up their own items just to be sure they'll get a good price for them.

I'm sure it happens but if you suspect it you can report it to EBAY for an investigation and they may be able to track the IP addresses of the bidders. (I'm in IT :evil)

If the sellers IP matches a bidder or even any log on from a seperate account with the same used IPs as the seller throws a red flag for ebay and they ding you...

I had this happen about 5 years ago. I worked for a guy who sold Sony Factory Refurb Equipment on ebay (really great deals with a full waranty) and the day an auction closed we realized that a camera that was listed had been sold in our store. So I logged on at work on my account and out bid everyone, we did a cash transfer and I paid it off through paypal...

Somehow through all that admin in ebay knew and my account got removed and the seller (my boss) was suspened for 1 month.

So I just think that now a days people are dumb for ZX7R parts... :rolleyes

Cool story, bro.

Maybe you're right and ppl don't know what they have... Or maybe they don't care because zx7r's are "old." It's weird when I think that the newest zx7r money can buy will be no less than 9 years old as of this year.
