Because we just didn't know any better during the time we owned it. I feel the same way about my 92 zx11 C model. I Wish I never sold that bike.

I may try a ZX1000 as an attempt to fill the 9R void in my heart.

Yeah it is funny how times change... there were sweet looking marlboro race cars for a long time! Those purple and gold CBR's were just done right. My friend had the yellow with purple trim F3. I am looking for a pic.

There was one of those for sale in FL. Claimed 50k on the ODO. Needed a motor though. I think the seller was asking 1800 for it.

Here's an '85 K100 I cafe'd a few years back. Really wish I kept it:

Here's my first 93 zx7 that I had my wreck on. My only complaint about this bike was the imperfect welded extension that was done on the SA. It was not straight and always wore down the left-of-center of both tires. Just look at the front tire. Now, imagine the rear tire. Also, I never got around to swapping out the stock zx7 rear shock. Dam thing always bottomed out. I still have the motor, tank, rear subframe, rear wheel. rear sets, both seats, and the handlebar end caps. You can also see that I have a shop rag over the air intake. This is what started my whoredom.
