Well it is that time of year here. The pine nuts are in! And i have just procured 3.2 lbs of Utah's finest high elevation pine nuts. I like to slow roast them at 150-350 degrees for a certain amount of time *secret*

Anyone else eat them or pick\harvest them yourself.

Love them. But they are expensive as shit here in Jersey. Like $10 for a handful of them :angry

I like to throw them at the neighbor's kids from the bushes while they're jumping on their trampoline :dunno

Tell me you didn't harvest those yourself. Aren't they like celery in relation to calories: Where you burn more in the process of shucking, than you get from eating? :dunno

Agreed though. Before I knew there were pine nuts, I was really enjoying them in salads and such. Tasty.

They're too healthy. I like to stick to the 4 main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corn, and syrup. :cool:
