Hi everyone

I purchased my first bike about 2 weeks ago. 2003 kawasaki ninja ex500
So far i love the bike. its easy to handle, plenty of power for a newbie, great gas mileage and i am happy with the styling

i bought it with 1630 miles from the original owner. the purchase included an KBC VR1 euro helmet size XL, a cover for the bike and some gloves. all for $1900. I got it locally, which was nice.

the helmet is too big for me so if anyone wants the helmet let me know. i listed it on craigslist if you want more info.

1 question - is a 2003 ninja ex500 the same as a 500r?

Used to be called the ex500 now just called 500r..also known as the GPZ500 :smile google does wonders

thats what i thought, but i was a little confused because i have seen some 500 models around my model year that had a 500r marking on the rear. mine does not.
