I just purchased a 2006 ZX-6R. Since I won't ride it until after Winter, I requested the shop not do the initial service. Therefore, the bike has no fuel or electrolyte in the battery. I plan to roll the bike around, varying the tire patch contacting the ground, as I have no lifts at this point. It will be stored inside, but it won't be climate-controlled.

Is there anything I am missing? Is an empty gas tank and empty battery as ideal as it sounds?

Thanks for your advice! And for those of you wondering, yes, the shop will come and get the bike for servicing here in a few months (longest months of my life).
