Ive got a 97 ZX9R B4 that has several oil leaks, one of them being the clutch cover gasket. I figured that since i was gonna have it open, I might s well go ahead put in a new clutch kit. I mainly use the bike for cummuting around town and back and forth to work but also like to go out on longer rides on the weekend and open it up a bit. I'm not sure if it matters but I live in AZ where the weather is hot for most of the year. I want something that can stand up to the wear and tear of riding around in town but will also be easy on my hand. Any recommendations or opinions are greatly appreciaed.

Barnett or EBC. Either one can be had with heavier-duty springs, but it will increase the pull at the lever. If your stock springs free length checks out OK and it wasn't slipping before, there's no reason to use heavier springs.

Thanx for the thoughts. The free length seems to be ok but I have experienced a small slip once or twice. I will look around and see what is out there. Do you feel that out of the two you recommended that one is better than the other?

You sure it was the clutch slipping and not a tire?
