I just bought this ZX6 the other day, it's bone stock 8000 miles, I took the seat off and found this jumper, someone must know what it's for.
Japanese bikes did not have exhaust noise snuffers (servo-controlled butterfly valves in the exhaust pipe(s)) in '07. They may have 'em on newer models. They are a European invention designed to help the machine pass the Euro noise test. Usually takes a dongle with a resistor to keep the ECU from throwing a code when they're removed.Maybe it’s the exhaust servo bypass?
