A couple of questions here.
I was told that to replace one of the frame slider motor mount brackets that...you have to drop the whole engine to do it???? I hope someone can advise me that that is not the case.
2. So I had awesome t rex sliders on my 14..which...when I got side swiped...it saved my leg. Well, it broke my motor mount bracket. So the question is this. Is it safe to unscrew the slider from the motor mount on the other side without the engine moving? I am afraid if I undo the right side frame slider bolt while there is not anything holding the left side that the engine might move out of position or something? Any suggestion would be great as driving with one slider is weird looking lol.

The motor is also held by long through-bolts at the rear, but I would prop it up with some blocks of wood (easy to cut around the sump) just to make sure it stays in place while you replace the hanger mount.

BTW, I have the motor mount brackets in my part-out stash if you need one.
