Work starts on Laguna Seca improvements
News, 19/02/06
An important transformation is taking place at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, scene of this season’s United States Grand Prix. Work started in January on a project set to cost six million dollars, with the main objective of improving safety and facilities. The update is scheduled for completion before June’s MotoGP race.
The track is also set to be relaid, with work focused on improving and enlarging both the safety zones and run off areas. Another of the big changes will be the relocation of what will now be the Media Center.
