Lime Green dominates the racetracks

Kawasaki was the winner in the most important European race track shootouts in 2005. Last springtime, the Ninja ZX-10R emerged victorious from the Master Bike event. Now the Kawasaki KX250 follows in the 10R's footsteps by dominating the off-road counterpart. The 2-stroke machine has won the Master Cross 2006, that was joined by 7 magazines from Europe, Mexico, and Australia.

The shootout of the 06 MX models of Honda, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki, and Yamaha, joint by the magazines Motociclismo (E), Moto Crampons (F), Moto Sprint (I), Motorrad (D), Bike (Scandinavia), Motociclismo (Mexico), and Australian MCN, was held on the Parcmotor racetrack near Igualada/Spain. The Kawasaki KX250 was by far the fastest bike at Parcmotor. It dominated the MX1 2T class, beat the Honda CRF 450R in the semi-final and was faster than the KTM 525 SX Racing and KTM 250 SX-F in the final.

Besides the Master Cross title and the class-win of the KX250, the KX125, KX250F and KX450F finished each second place in their class.. The new KX450F was the fastest 4 stroke of the Master Cross.
