hi.. my problem is, when im riding along sticking to the limit or not it doesnt matter (bikes up to temperature aswell), if i pull the clutch in, the bike will instantly cut out, but wen i release the clutch the bike will jump itself then plod along like nothing has happend. why does it do this?

also the bike is a reet bitch to start when its cold, the choke doesnt seem to work proper and will just cut out unless im feathering the throttle, but goes ok wen on 3bars on the temp, could my cutting out problem be something to do with the choke

ps, the bike idles around 1000-1500rpm wen its not arsin around. its a 99' zx6r aswell, thanks

The clutch & side stand have interlocked switches that normally cut the engine if you try to pull away with the stand down. Check the switches & wiring, there may be a problem there.

Have you got a manual (for the wiring diagram?)

Kawasaki's are notorious for the on/off nature of their chokes. It helps if you make sure everything is lubed properly & working smoothly.
