About how much does five gallons of gas weigh? After the dry weight, how much weight is added to make it wet - including the gas in the tank, oil, coolant, and any of the fluids that have to go into a bike??

Gasoline weighs just under six pounds per gallon. In aviation, six pounds is used to calculate loading the aircraft. Oils are generally about the same weight.

1 cubic feet = 7.48051945 US gallons

conversion for ft^3 to gallons

So, 5 gallons of gas = 42.5 lbs/ft^3 * 1 ft^3/7.48 gallons *5 gallons = 28.41 lbs

I had to go to class this morning when I just posted the density for gasoline... sorry :)
