I changed the oil a few days ago & found 20-30 more dead bees on the lower & in the rad.
All told, 70+ bees lost it that day.

I've done that one before . I don't think my kill rate was as high as yours though . We just recently visited my father in law in san Diego and hit a swarm in the wifes pilot . I don't know what they were but what a mess .

Iv been riding for a very long time, Nixon was president, & this is the first time Iv hit this many at once.
May never happen again, Lets hope.
I did hit a cardinal @ 70+ mph once, Right dead center of my visor, broke it into, It was dangling from the sides.
I was unhurt.

I live in a kind of isolated area and once you get out on the highway there is nothing but trees, no towns for 500+km, if you wait till the evening to ride the bike, helmet and jacket end up that bad or worse. If I remember when we actually get to start riding I'll get a few pics of our mess.

Maybe cover the front of your bike in a a layer or two of plastic/vinyl film(window tint) peel it off as needed.
