Help.. I have a 93 ZX11D1 that will not crank. I pulled it out of the garage on saturday and it fired right up and let it run for about 10 min. shut it off and it sat for about a 30 min. went to start it and ....nothing, no crank. I can bump start it and it runs fine, battery test fine (new last year) and other electrical seem to be working. I can hear a "clicking" sound from the junction/fuse box. Is this a common failure? according to my repair manuel the headlamp (no headlight either) and starter relay circuts run through the junction box.
Any help would be great ....Thanks !

Your battery may have sparked its last start. It takes more voltage to run the starter than to run the ignition, hence you can still bump start it (for now) Does the headlight come on when you get it bumped? On the other hand, you may have burned something in the box. You said it passed a battery check. What sort of check? A shorted cell sometimes will not manifest itself until a load is applied. Usually when you hear clicking, the starter relay is fluttering from lack of voltage. Try jump-starting it with a car or truck (motor off!). If that doesn't work, it's not the battery. Next thing would to test the box.

I've read every single post about this subject, and every single one is not only wrong, but of very little help! There is a fuse behind the battery... it's fine! There is a fuse in the junction box... it's fine! If I touch the wire from the light relay to a 12v source... LIGHTS! Every other light works fine! With a brand new stator and regulator/rectifier... I'm getting .3 from the white wire that WAS powering on the headlights, but that stopped after a day! I haven't been able to ride because either the battery dies or it won't start! That battery is brand new an AGM, and the other parts I listed! I have all LED lights with no extra accessories! Rick's is only open Mon thru Friday, so you can only possibly get help then! Eventually, I'll take it to a shop and post an accurate description of the problem instead of all of these anecdotal guesses which don't help at all! I'll post pictures and details as well! Everyone deserves to know how to fix these issues!

So, you resurrected a dead thread to post your vague response? It would be better if you started your own thread with Y/M/M of your bike, the symptoms, and what you have done to troubleshoot it.

There's an open circuit between your generator, the battery, and the headlight. The fact that your brand new AGM battery (which I love AGM) completely discharges tells me that your brand new generator is not charging the battery. That issue alone would need to be sorted first before the headlight issue.
