Impressive Performance by Hawk Kawasaki

'Stars of Darley' - 8th October

Hawk Kawasaki had a fantastic weekend at 'The Stars of Darley Race' yesterday 8th October. With record crowds at the Derbyshire circuit Hawk put on a very strong display and won both the Superbike races with Ian 'Hutchy' Hutchinson and Peter Hickman taking a win each.

In glorious conditions the three Hawk Kawasaki riders, Craig Coxhell, Peter Hickman and Ian Hutchinson were eager to tackle the two 10-lap races around the twisty 1.5-mile track.

Hutchy who took the Hawk Kawasaki to the win at Oliver's Mount in the Summer added a win and second position at Darley Moor at the weekend. The TT Star took the overall Stars of Darley trophy and will also be riding for Hawk Kawasaki this weekend at the Race of the Year at Mallory Park.

Young rookie rider, Peter Hickman was on a mission at Darley, after setting pole position in front of his fellow team-mates Hutchinson and Coxhell he also went faster than Road Racers John McGuinness and Ian Lougher. Eager for a good result Hickman set the first ever 100mph lap around the small circuit much to the delight of the crowd.

23-year-old Craig Coxhell scored two fourth places in the two races. The Darley Moor team once again put on a superb and successful meeting and thanks to them all for their hard work and effort.

Team Owner Stuart Hicken commented "It’s been a good day for Hawk Kawasaki and the riders rode extremely well. They completely dominated proceedings and it was a positive weekend for the team. We are looking forward to the Race of the Year at Mallory this weekend and hope that we can get similar results there too."

Peter Hickman and Ian Hutchinson will be riding at Mallory Park, this weekend 14th and 15th October.
