Well the Drag racing was great

A great fun and very well organised event..

The GTR1400 had some VERY good runs for a lardy touring bike :nana

Here are a few pics of one of my 4 victorious runs against a ZZR 1400

Ready..........

Go ...... And I have got the luggage on.. :p

126 mph through the trap
11.2 secs ET for the 1/4 :smile (reaction time .9 secs , so thats 10.3 :clap )

Uh ... No.

The reaction time is the time between the light going green and you actually crossing the beam. Your ET starts when you cross the beam so you don't get to subtract the reaction time. So its not a 10.3 but a still quite respectable 11.2. How much does that bike weigh anyway?

Nice one Stu...I see you put your OEM screen back :crazyloco on. That would account for you beating that ZZR. :crazyloco

:rotflmao Chris,

There was no way I was going to drag run with the CalSci +6 on

That would be too much of a freebie for zzr man..

I was at the Kwak dealer today picking up my tank protectors and zzr chap had phoned them Monday and moaned that some oik in a skelly suit had out dragged him x 4 so therefore his bike was not running right......:rolleyes

He asked them to check his slipper clutch as his bike kept doing wheelies off the line :rotflmao

When they explained what a slipper clutch does the waranty claim was canceled.. :tard

You rock Bags!!! What a great post man! It ALWAYS cracks me up when a guy with a big cc sportie doesnt know how to use it right. The back tire will tell the tale. When it's bald in the middle and new on the sides, that should tell you something. I used to love to find those guys on my old Connie and run 'em through the twisties! No video?!?
