Im just about ready to start chroming my bike and im looking for opinions i dont want to go to over the top with it. My first plan was to chrome all the small parts but i saw a bike like that on the net and it ended up being to much chrome...Opinions?

Chrome sucks. . .I wouldn't do it.

But again, like RR said it is up to you.

man chrome is nice, just remember it is not how much you do, but what you do for sure. i don't have a ton of chrome, but some chrome and the only other chrome i would like to have it front and rear sets, but i have a hard time paying 400 bucks for them. check out a couple of pics.

It also adds a ton of weight. A guy did most of his 500R in chrome with black plastics and it added over 30 lbs to the bike.

Have you had it on a calibrated scale before and after?

You don't have as much chrome on yours as he did lol...Literally every single metal part on his bike was chromed. Head, block, cases, the case of the starter... all of it lol

You maybe added a few pounds tops, not that I would ever consider that to be a problem on any street bike by any means. A chromed wheel might add a pound.

Hell, I am pretty sure I add more weight to my bike by eating too much and bringing leftovers home than most of what is in this thread.
