I own a 2018 zx14r abs se.

Do you guys think I need a fuel tank replacement?

I was riding and I got hit by a heavy rain in the middle of the way home. I hydroplaned and hit the pavement at 60mph. I have a
small rasberry on my knee and a cut on my hand thats it.
What I am worried about is the fuel tank. All other parts that were damaged are things I was going to replace anyway

Damaged parts

Brake light
Fairings
Foot peg assembly
Fuel tank cover
Fuel tank
Scratches on the clutch lever
Mirrors

I was planning on taking it to a shop but they said the fuel tank alone would be $2500
Is there a way I could get a oem fuel tank for less that is new

In the UK we have access to online Parts Finding sites for Cars, Bikes, Etc is this something that is available to you where you are.
There basically a Breakers that have used spares.

For some reason the 2018-2019 zx14r fuel tank pages are AWOL. It seems like every major supplier I checked are using the same incomplete parts list. 2017 and 2020 are available however. I thought I was going crazy till I finally realized the pages were not there.

They used the same parts for multiple years if you can figure out which one you need. The 2020 tank is more expensive than the 2017.
