Well, I managed to do my under tail and new exhaust this weekend....but am stumped on how to instal my frame sliders. They are the Vortex frame sliders. They only come with very vague directions and require trimming some of the fairing on each side. Has anyone done this? How do you tell how much to take off, without leaving it looking like a chop job? And what do you use to cut it? I'd hate to have to go back to the Kawasaki shop an admit defeat to the boys. They'd hold it over my head. Lol. Help a girl out? Any advice is appreciated!

Not sure how much trimming is needed but if it's the plastics that need it...I would use a Dremel and just work slow till you have enough clearance. Then just try and match the second side to the first. A tip is cut most of what you need off then use a small sand paper drum on the Dremel to fine tune the trim job and smooth it out to make it look more like a factory job. Might want to try and find a piece of a crashed bike to practice on first as well.
