Do you need any special tools to change fork oil? I've seen the tool to set the oil level but anything else? Any recommendations on oil brand to use?

Thanx

You'll need

1. Inside circlip pliers
2. Oil seal and bearing remover
3. Bearing driver set
4. Fork oil seal driver

I've use ohlins fork oil in my previous ZX-9R E1 and it was great. The front end was sensitif to tuning...

all that just to change the fork oil??? My service manual mentions none of this outside of a "fork piston rod puller".

dunno about your service manual but regardless of normal or upside down shock, you'll need to use as stated. (Example : fork oil seal driver) how are you going to put the fork oil seal back in the fork tube without it's driver... Without it, you will destroy the edges and risk leaking the fork oil..
