does any one know of or has anyone ever heard of flexable rubber intake boots. Im trying to avoid buying new carbs. The set i have are spaced 75-75-75 and my stock spacing is 78-87-78.

Sell the set you have and buy the proper carb rack...

Yeah, get them spaced properly.

Custom intake boots would cost just as much if not more than getting the proper parts from kehin (flexible ones won't work cause the boots hold the carbs and air box).

The other issue you would have (even if you did get the spacers to work) would be that the throttle cables would be too short because the 75-75-75 spacing is for earlier models (before the P) that had the throttle linkage on the right hand side of the rack as opposed to in the centre (as your 78-87-78 spaced carb have). That is why the spacing is wider between the 2-3 units. Just my $.02.
