i got a 2006 636 and unfortunately crased it..........i m slowly rebuliding it myself and i m repainting it .
the question is should i do it flat black or shiny black...........mind you: i m going to put red racing stripes on it
I think the matt is to hard to keep clean and it also shows every finger print and bit of road rash as it does not have the clear coat to protect the paint unless you can get a flat matt clear coat with a satin finish
I'm going to have to agree with kennykiller, although either flat or shiny would hide stuff. maybe you should mix the two? ala 04' 05' ZX10R or the new agusta's such as the CC's. The new Agusta's are actually offered in a flat/shiny black scheme with some red accents...
definately shiny.. want flat... buy an old school chopper.. although those limited edition zx14 look pretty cool with the oldschool flat look on red rally stripes.
look at the link...............that s the color i was thinking about.
maybe even a little darker, and add red race stripes. one rapping around the front turning signals going to the back of the fuel tank, and the other rapping under the bike where the oil bin is and running to the back of the tail.
Screw the stripes. Go Flat Black with Gloss Ghost Flames.
