hey guys, been awhile since i posted last, but i just made a few orders on some goodies and thought id update lol. well, i got vortex sprokets (15/45, 520),new chain, new rear tire (Continental Rear Motion 185/55ZR17),progrip tank protector, and 12000k 35w HID kit for both low and high beam. planning on replacing the nose bulb with a blue led, to match the led accent lights throughout the bike. also got a yoshi rs-5 last april. will post up pics as soon as i put the parts on

well i have 8000k on my car and love them, but i wanted something a little deeper for the bike, so i figured 12000k would do the trick. i guess we'll see how much i like them after install lol

shake the 12k's. You'll like the look (maybe), but will be disappointed with their light output. 6-8k is the zone you want to be in.

Do these HID's come with a relay to delay activation until the bike is running? If so where did you get them?

yea this is 8000k on my bike and i recently just dropped it down to a 6000k.

abit to much blue haze for my liking. It was ok when my bike was blue but now its annoying.

well, after all the buzz about the 12000k lights, i emailed the company requesting a switch to 8000k, hopefully theyll switch the order. should find out by tomorrow. still excited about the rest of it though

im going to guess no, most hid kids dont come with it. You probably have to order that seprately, but i never heard of that.

I know its not the best of the view but OP here is how 8000k looks from the riders pov.

I think you will be happier with the 8000k vs. 12000k

the one thing that keeps you planted on the road, i mean im sure its good tire, good tire wear, i read some reviews on it and people claim good things.

but i would not classify it as a goodie if you went the cheap route.

id suggest at least going the OEM route, about 25 dollars more

imo i didnt really like the stock bridgestone that was on it. felt slippery to me. ive heard good things about continental in the past, so i figured for the price its gotta be decent atleast.

i currently have a pirelli diablo corse 3 on my rear....i love it. I was expensive when it first came out ($400 for tire and install/balance) but worth every penny. I think they came down in price since then.
