Ive sync'd bikes before so no issues there. Im just having trouble locating an adjustment screw for carbs 1 and 2. there a lot in the way and not sure how to reach it. Also not positive on what hoses to connect to for my gauge sync tool.

Excellent find XX!

For anyone reading this thread wondering if they should do theirs, that's a big yes! It's like going from a bike that feels like :rant :headscratch to one that feels like :rofl :crazyloco.

Take that, you EFI elitists.

There is a very helpful website for regular maintenance on the ZX6R, including carb sync, valve timing adjustment and the like.

http://www.themcdonalds.net/richard...intenance:_Balance_Carburetor_Synchronization

Browse around and I'm sure it will be helpful

Also for the fuel adjustment screws a long reach phillips head should do the trick.
Thats a great site, Iv used it myself.
One thing I don't think I see there though is a fan.
If your like me & a bit slow, Then you will need a fan to blow on the rad to cool the bike as you work.
If your doing this in the heat of summer, the bike will quickly overheat.
So a strong fan is a must.

Oh yeah, I agree about that EFI comment... well adjusted carbs with a good sync make for a god damn responsive motorcycle.
