And is cleaning carbs yourself more cost effective? Taking off all that plastic and those hoses is a bitch by itself. Not to mention breakdown of the carbs, carbcleaner, scrubing every little crevasse. 3 times. Carb rebuild kits are around $20 each. How much do dealers usually charge? Do dealers usually do a more effective job?

IDK but keep me posted! I am looking into this myself, actually got a Kawasaki manual for my B model 9r on the way from Ebay. All this carb stuff (I understand the concept and idea, just not the application) is a black magic to me, but soon I'll be a witch!!!

I just bought everything I need to rebuild, time to take the tampon out.

List of parts:
4 carb kits on Ebay $71.00

1/4" hose
K & L Carb cleaning toolkit
Fuel Filter
Clamps
Air Filter Matience Kit from Dennis Kirk $38.00

1 big can of Carb & Choke Cleaner - Pepboys $3

The nervous feeling that I'm going to screw something up and end up at the dealer anyway - Priceless

Any last minute advice?
